Writing

If you could write a biography about anyone who would it be?

  • Choose one person from history (they could be dead or alive) and come up with 5 questions that you would want to ask them.
  • Write the name of the person and the questions on a separate sheet of paper.
  • You may draw a picture of your person to go along with your questions!

Math

Guess the Shape!

Read the riddles below and figure out which shape it is! Write down your answers. (Remember, faces are the flat side of a shape)

  1. You see me at parties that are never dull. Some wear me, some eat me, I have a point and my face is a circle. What shape am I?
  2. My faces are rectangular, though some may be square. Six faces on which to stack me, what name do I bear?
  3. Round and round and round I go. I have no faces or points or edges you know. What is my name?
  4. Eight corners, 12 edges, are plain to see. 6 square faces I have, what could I be?
  5. Open or closed, big or little, I have two circle faces and can roll in the middle. What am I?
