E-learning for 4/15/2022

by Nathan McBee on April 13, 2022

Posted in: 7th Grade,8th Grade

I have set the assignment for e-learning to post on 4/14/2022 at 4pm. I have given both classes very simple edpuzzle’s to complete. Please do not let me down as I am trying to make it so that you do not have to work extra hard for my class while being at home. Having said that, I expect all of these to be completed by 4pm on 4/15/2022. If it is not completed and turned in by the expressed time given, I will not accept it after that time frame and it will result in a failing grade as well as an absence from my class for the day.

Ok gang, the template for your PBL assignment was posted on Friday and will be due this coming Friday 4/8/2022. All the instructions are on the template as well as there is an attached document with links for research. Be very creative with your stories, I will not be the only one looking at these. This assignment is over half of your term grade so do your best and unleash your creative minds. Good luck and I am very excited to read them.

Good Morning Gang!!! As I have previously stated to you in class, please be on time for all of my classes because we have a lot of work to get done. I want you to be in class and prepare to work. I WILL NOT WAIT for students. The sooner we can get the class going, without interruptions, the sooner we can be done. Please remember the proper way you are to enter the meeting. Be muted and cameras on so that I can see that it is you. If you have questions put them in the chat and I will respond from there. Nothing else is going on in the chat or you will be kicked out of the class and not allowed back in which will result in an absence for the day.

8th Grade classes, be prepared to take notes over Westward Expansion.

7th Grade classes, be prepared to take notes over Buddhism.

As always, everybody stays safe and healthy during this storm and I look forward to seeing you all in person next week.

Hello everyone! Well, this week started off very interesting with the unexpected e-learning day. But as always, we overcame and adapted to the ever changing momentum of our current times. This week the 7th grade will hopefully finish up with the Indus River Valley by studying the Mauryan and Gupta Empires. The 8th grade classes will begin their journey west as we start our new unit over Westward Expansion. Last week I gave ALL classes the chance to turn any and all missing assignments in for a grade. As of today (1/25/2022), I will no longer except any missing assignment prior to today’s date. Moving forward I want you all to know that all of my assignments are posted on Google Classroom and will be from this point on. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and please stay healthy and safe.

Welcome back everybody!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and is ready to jump back into the swing of things. This week we will be starting off kind of slow and working our way back into the fast paced world of history. 7th grade classes will start off with IXL so make sure you are bringing your computers with you to class. 8th Grade will be reviewing our notes over Native American Cultures and working our way to finishing up with that lesson. So 8th graders, make sure you come to class prepared to take notes (BRING YOUR NOTEBOOKS AND SOMETHING TO WRITE WITH). Everyone have a great week and I am glad to see you all back.

Greeting everyone!!! I hope all is well after the long weekend. This week my 8th grade classes will continue working on Native American Cultures. We will be taking more notes over the Native American Cultural regions as well as the beginning of our Westward Expansion PBL. I am planning on at least one bookwork assignment this week. REMEMBER, I am only allowing one week to have any assignment turned in to me for any points. After one week, I will not give credit for the assignment. I hope you all have a good week.
