This week is the last week of the grading period.  We will be focused on getting extra work in on our digital curriculum and working on our community helper projects.  This project requires your child to think about how he/she will contribute to the community when they get older, why they want to do this job, what skills/tools that helper needs and what kind of training is required.  Your child will also need to find at least 3 interesting facts about their desired job.  Our focus will be “Begin with the End in Mind” and the students will be creating a Power Point presentation to present their info along with a model of their community helper.

ON WEDNESDAY, we will spend a little time celebrating Valentine’s day with a short movie and a treat.  Valentine’s can be passed out as long as Valentine is provided for each student in the class.  We have 19 students.  A list of names came home last week and again tonight in case it was misplaced.

THURSDAY WE WILL HAVE OUR SPELLING TEST.
